What is the Villa's policy on Medicare, Medicaid, and long-term care insurance?
Chimney Rock Villa does accept both Medicaid and Medicare funding. Because of the affordable private pay rates, the Villa also has many private pay residents. The Villa is able to assist with long-term care insurance claims, as necessary.
Does the Villa have both private and semi-private rooms available?
Chimney Rock Villa has both private and semi-private rooms. All rooms have a nurse-call system for the convenience of the resident. The rooms are large, comfortable and homey. Each room is furnished with a bed, nightstand and chest of drawers. Every room has available closet space and a private bathroom. The rooms are well-lit and cheerful, with lots of wall space for the resident to hang family photos, personal items or decorations.
What activities are available?
Chimney Rock Villa has activities seven (7) days per week which are designed to meet the interests of all residents. The Villa's activity program includes a complete itinerary of activities for individuals with a high level of participation as well as a wide variety for those who have limited participation levels. Resident favorites include bingo, van rides, birthday parties, music, exercise class, and devotional hour.
Does the Villa have a licensed nurse available 24 hours a day?
Chimney Rock Villa has a licensed nurse on duty at all times. The nursing staff has over 70 years combined geriatric nursing experience and provides compassion and caring to each individual resident.
What about physician services?
The residents may continue to see their physician of choice. When a physician is unable to visit Chimney Rock Villa him/herself, the facility will transport the resident to the physician's office.
